World Map Date: 05/26/2008 This is a world map I designed and created for DRS Technologies, in Parsippany, NJ. The map measures 12 feet wide by 8 feet high, and is fabricated of black Corian with aluminum landmasses. The Company's facilities around the world are identified on the map with fiber-optic illuminated red dots, and the Company's mission statement is sandblasted into the acrylic oval, and edge-lit so as to have the lettering stand out from the background. Installed in 2003
Watch Tower Date: 05/26/2008 This "Watch Tower" was commissioned by Callanen International (now Sequel AG), the parent company of Guess and Nautica brand watches. The tower stands 14 feet high, and is constructed of stainless steel with a sandblasted finish (as were their watches when this was created). The graphic design was derived from their corporate logo.
Nestles Train Date: 05/26/2008 So, the story here; the PooBah of Nestles holdings, in South Norwalk, CT, wanted his collection of corporate-branded trains to run from his office, through the wall into the boardroom and back. Entirely handmade suspended track, made of maple with stainless hardware and a touch of white Delrin plastic.
